CHECK-LIST FOR OWNERS BEFORE RENOVATIONS/BALCONY ENCLOSURE

 

HAVE YOU, AS THE OWNER COMPLETED THE FOLLOWING? 

 

STEP 1 – IF YOU’D LIKE TO ENCLOSE YOUR BALCONY, PLEASE WRITE TO YOUR BODY CORPORATE CHAIRMAN.  A TEMPLATE HAS BEEN CREATED FOR YOU AND IS AVAILABLE HERE

 

STEP 2 – FILL IN A NOTICE TO RENOVATE FORM WHICH CAN BE OBTAINED BY CLICKING HERE 

 

STEP 3 – PLEASE EMAIL BOTH COPIES TO THE CARETAKER. CARETAKER CAN FORWARD IT ON TO THE YOUR COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN. EMAILS ADDRESSES ARE AS FOLLOWS.

STEP 4 – CONTACT ALLAN VAN PLANNING VIA EMAIL (allan@allanvanplanning.com.au) WITH YOUR REQUEST LETTER AND APPROVAL FROM BODY CORPORATE, ALONG WITH THE SIGNED INDIVIDUAL OWNER DECLARATION. THERE WILL BE A FEE FOR COUNCIL LODGEMENT AND FOR USING ALLAN VAN PLANNING WHICH WILL BE ADVISED TO YOU ON THE APPLICATION.

 

STEP 5 – NOW YOU CAN EMPLOY A THIRD PARTY CONTRACTOR FOR YOUR BALCONY ENCLOSURE.

PREVIOUSLY RAPID GLASS HAS PROVIDED THE CHEAPEST QUOTE. IF YOU PREFER THEM, CALL 07 3256 2020 OR EMAIL jenny@rapidglass.com.au. (However it’s not compulsory to use this company)
