Master Key System (G & H BLOCKS)

As a resident/s of a secure complex with over 500 Units onsite, we take security very seriously here at Cathedral Place.

Too ensure that the complex continues to remain a secure complex, we request that you assist us by completing the following;

– Attend our office and present your security swipe and the key belonging to your unit
– Provide a copy of your Lease and photo ID
– You will receive your new unit key at no charge


The Caretaking Office will be opened for picking up New Keys:

 –      6th December – Thursday – 10am to 12pm & 5pm to 7pm

–      7th December – Friday – 10am to 12pm & 5pm to 7pm

–      8th December – Saturday – 9am to 11am

–      11th December – Tuesday – 10am to 12pm & 5pm to 7pm


On Wednesday 11th December, between 8 am – 4 pm the locks will be changed, to the new master key system. You will need your new key to get into your unit from Wednesday.

Building Units and Group Titles Act 1980 Section 36 Power of entry

(1) For the purpose of carrying out—

(a) pursuant to section 33(1), (2), (4) or (5), any work; or

(b) any work required to be carried out by a body corporate—

(i) by a notice served on it  by a public authority or

local government; or

(ii) by an order of the referee or a tribunal; or

(c) any work referred to in section 37(1)(b) or (c); or

(d) any work necessary to repair or renew any pipes, poles, wires, cables or ducts referred to in section 51(1)(a)(ii);

the body corporate may, by its agents, servants or contractors, enter upon any part of the parcel for the purpose of carrying out the work—

(e) in the case of an emergency—at any time; or

(f) in any other case—at any reasonable time on notice given to any occupier of that part of the parcel.

(2) A person shall not obstruct or hinder a body corporate in the exercise of its power under subsection (1). Maximum penalty—2 2/3 penalty unit
